Timothy James Hopler, 40, of Fort Collins, CO passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020 in his home, surrounded by family, after a year-long battle with cancer.
Timmy was born in New Jersey to John and Mary Kathleen Hopler. He attended Saint Rose High School in Belmar, NJ, received his undergraduate degree from Monmouth University, and his master's degree from the University of Phoenix. He married Corrina Kramer in 2008 and the couple had four children.
Tim worked as a Department Supervisor at The Home Depot. He was known for his quirky sense of humor and willingness to help others.
Tim is survived by both parents, his wife, his children (Kaeli, 17; Caleb, 15; Theodore, 9; and Thalia, 5), his older sister, Corinne LaCapria of Point Pleasant, NJ (spouse Steve, children Zoey and Cecilia), younger sister, Kelly DeLear of Vernon, NJ (spouse Ray), and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Tim's favorite charities – the Larimer Humane Society and KUNC Radio. A memorial service will be held virtually on Saturday, August 1 at 10:00 am.
