Tracey D. Parrish

Tracey Diane Parrish, 62, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, CO. Born in Denver Tracey called Fort Collins home since 1995 after spending time living in Wyoming. As a true Forest Service brat, she grew up moving from place to place, experiencing different communities and landscapes along the way. That life helped shape the person she became—strong, caring, adaptable, and deeply connected to the people and places around her. Tracey dedicated her career to the U.S. Forest Service, where she worked as a budget officer until her retirement in 2024. But her greatest work in life was caring for the people she loved. Tracey loved her people fiercely and unconditionally. She was the person who made sure everyone was okay, who showed up when she was needed, and who cared for others even when she had little left to give herself. And then there were her dogs. Tracey loved her dogs more than anyone could truly understand. They were her family, her companions, and a huge part of her heart. Anyone who knew Tracey knew just how much they meant to her. Her heart was genuine, and her intentions were always pure. She had a remarkable way of putting others before herself and taking care of the people—and animals—she loved. She continued doing what came naturally to her, caring for everyone around her, right up until her last breath. Tracey leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, loyalty, and a life spent taking care of others. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her people, in the lives she touched, and in the unconditional love she gave so freely.

Tracey is survived by her father and stepmother Keith & Lorraine Parrish of Sun City West, AZ, Sister Kelly Parrish Ippolito of Fort Collins, CO, nephew Carter Ippolito of Powell, OH, and beloved pups LuLu, CoCo and Raina.

At peace at last, Tracey. You took care of everyone for so long. It’s time for you to rest.
