Our Savior Jesus Christ has destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. Let us remember with thanksgiving what God has done through his servant Trudy.
Trudy Lynn Brockman was born in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on June 23, 1951 to parents Donald M Brockman and L. Arlene Flora. She was reborn as a child of God in the waters of Holy Baptism on April 21, 1957. On November 23, 2014, she was confirmed in the Christian faith and was fed the life-giving body and blood of Jesus. God called Trudy home to heaven December 3, 2021.
She is survived by sister Donna Wolf (Jeffrey) of Bellvue, CO, brother Michael Brockman (Jane) of Sunbury, PA, and brother Edward (Bo) Brockman (Laura) of Parrish, FL. And many numerous nieces and nephews and grands all glory to God!
We give thanks to God our Father through Jesus Christ, our Lord, for Trudy. Trudy came to Colorado in January 1999. With lots of family support she made a new life here. We were the blessed ones!
Trudy was employed with Home Depot for many years, loved her job and the many very special people she worked with. She especially liked doing the "kids clinics" at Home Depot on Saturdays. She became a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. And she did volunteer work baking and preparing food for LaPorte community projects. She will be missed.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 305 E Elizabeth St, Fort Collins, CO 80524, with a luncheon to follow. Any memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Foundation.
