Vicky Jean Stafford, 77, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away in Fort Collins, Colorado, on January 9, 2025. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Vicky was deeply cherished and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Born on August 13, 1947, in Grand Prairie, Texas, to John T. McCall and Lucille Stafford, Vicky spent her formative years between Grand Prairie and Coleman. She graduated from Grand Prairie High School and went on to build a successful career with the Army Airforce Exchange Service, where she later retired.
Vicky found joy in arts and crafts and horseback riding whenever possible. Above all, she delighted in watching her family flourish and grow, finding immense pride in their achievements and happiness.
She is survived by her children: Charlotte Bones, Penny Wynette, Cody Stafford, and Casey Stafford; her grandchildren: Taylor Walker, Kristopher Foster, Kandyce Bones, Kelsey Bones, Nathan Bones, Elijah Stafford, and Morgan Stafford; as well as seven great-grandchildren. Vicky was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Joe Stafford; and her son Perry Calvin.
A celebration of life will be held later date in Texas to honor Vicky's memory.
May her legacy of love and care continue to inspire those who knew her.
