Wayne Leslie Bowlby

Wayne Leslie Bowlby, 61, of Fort Collins, Colorado, died peacefully in his home on September 28, 2021.

Wayne was born on April 4, 1960 at Fort Monroe, Virginia. He grew up on the water in Maryland and moved to Nebraska where he met his wife Sally. They then moved to Colorado where they started a family and raised their children. He was a lover of live music, golden retrievers, and cats. He was a great friend, a loving husband and father, and a loving and fun grandfather. He had a big heart and was always willing to help others.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 40 years Sally Bowlby; his brother Kevin Bowlby and sister Cheryl Hickmann of Maryland; his son Jordan Bowlby of Denver; his daughter and son-in-law Shannon and Alan Helm, and grandchildren Alecia, Skyler, A.J. and Lexi Helm, of Salt Lake City, and other beloved family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Col. Lawrence Bowlby and his mother Joan Mays.

Wayne's final resting place will be near his beloved Chesapeake Bay with family attending.
