Wiletta June Miller

Wiletta (Billie) June Miller, 66, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 24, 2011. Billie was born January 3, 1945 to Wanda and Raymond Wycoff in Oakley, KS. She lived in KS until 1980 where she was an energetic mother to three sons and one daughter. Her absolute passion was her family, all of whom she leaves with an indelible impression of her love and caring. In 1980 she and husband, Sonny Miller, moved to Cheyenne, WY, and to Fort Collins in 1986. There, she embarked on her real estate career (Better Call Billie) with the same gusto and determination she had for life. She retired from The Group, Inc. in 2009, after more than 20 years of providing excellent, caring service to her customers. She was very appreciative of all the love and support she received from the real estate community and her friends at The Group, Inc. Billie served on the Board of Respite Care in the organization's early years, and provided much needed assistance to Foothills Gateway in finding homes for many of their clients. She fought to live every day since her diagnosis of Stage IV breast cancer in May 2006. All of Billie's friends and acquaintances know that she was driven to accomplish anything she set her mind to, and usually succeeded. Her doctor, Diana C. Medgyesy of Front Range Cancer Specialists, was instrumental in facilitating Billie's cancer journey, and for that we thank her. An angel appeared in the form of her former customer, friend and oncology nurse, Joanna Tschiffely, who recently joined Halcyon Hospice, and she was Billie's nurse to the end. She gave the family a great deal of comfort during Billie's transition. Billie is survived by many loved ones and friends, including: Mother, Wanda Wycoff Gochenour, Cheyenne, WY; Husband, Sonny Miller, Fort Collins, CO; 3 sons Torry R. Kersenbrock (Shannon) and granddaughters Tess and Abbey; Shawn A. Kersenbrock (Lani) and granddaughters Hannilyn & Sophia; Joshua Miller of Fort Collins, CO and step-son, Christopher Miller, Crystal Lake, IL.; Son-in-law Eric Broyles, Arvada, CO, and granddaughters Amanda Carly Broyles, Rolla, MO, and Malea June Broyles, Arvada, CO. Siblings: Raymond A. Wycoff, Cheyenne, WY, Ellen Thomas, Cheyenne, WY, Dina Dinkel (Larry), Oakley KS, and Bonnie Tobin, Colchester, VT and numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Billie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gail and Etta Challis, and Alva and Rosetta Wycoff, Russell Springs, KS, her father, Raymond Wycoff, and beloved daughter, Amy Christine Broyles.
