William (Bill) M. Craig passed away April 27th, 2015 at his home in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Bill was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on September 3rd 1946 to Ralph and Lavina (Lyons) Craig.
He attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration in 1968. While attending UW, he was a member of the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternal order, and made many lifelong friends in the organization. Upon graduation, he found sustained work for the next 40 years in the insurance industry; he succeeded in his profession as he truly enjoyed helping people.
In 1983, Bill married the love of his life, Mary Evelyn Bauer. Together they had one daughter, Colleen. Bill was a kind, loving, good-humored, and devoted husband and father.
Bill's faith was a cornerstone of his life—he was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and a beloved parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Bill was also an avid golfer and fisherman.
He is survived by his only daughter, Colleen Craig-McClurg, her husband, Joël McClurg, his siblings Ruth Peterson (Charles), John Craig, Katherine Jensen (James), Jane Grossklaus (Thomas), and James Craig, as well as his many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary, as well as his parents and sister, Mary.
A funeral mass will be held at 10am on Tuesday, May 5th, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, in Fort Collins, Colorado.
