William Geik departed this life on January 4, 2021.
Will, as he was known to his closest friends, was born in St. Joseph, Michigan on April 8, 1963. His family moved to Estes Park in August 1979. Will had a great love of nature which made Estes Park the perfect place.
Will spent many years working in tourism starting with the Stanley hotel when he was 16 years old. After many years, he became a private caregiver, then worked at Good Samaritan in Estes for 10 years. Two of his greatest joys were taking care of people and raising dogs.
Will was a very spiritual person and loved the natural world. Nature was truly his church and he always tried to honor the old ways and his ancestors.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Geik; sister, Elaine DeMorrow; and nephew, Daniel Blanchard. He is survived by his mother, Artie Roberts of Estes Park, CO; sister, Brenda Crawford of Benton Harbor, MI; sister, Aurora Walker of Denver, CO; brother, Kyle Geik of Denver, CO; and niece, Leandra Walker of Greeley, CO.
