On Saturday, February 27, 2021 William Andrew Malone entered into eternal life at the age of 21.
Will was born in Montana in February of 2000 to Stephen and Carol Malone. They later moved to Fort Collins where Will attended primary and secondary school; graduating from Fort Collins High School in 2018 with honors. Will went on to attend University of Wyoming where he studied Computer Science and Mathematics.
Though Will died young, his impact on those around him will be felt for a lifetime to come. His vibrant sense of humor brought light to his family, friends, and all those around him. Will enjoyed spending time with friends, watching movies and YouTube videos, and working on coding projects. Will cultivated his artistic gifts through drawing and his appreciation of unique geological formations. It would be an understatement to say that Will enjoyed all things related to fire, much to the delight of his younger siblings.
He is survived by his parents, Stephen and Carol; three brothers, Joe, and his wife Meg, Luke, and Matt; sister, Riley; nephew, Max; grandparents, Vern and Teresa, and Don and Rosemary; and many other loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He will be remembered for his genius, his lightheartedness, and his big smile. His strong presence made its mark in the people he encountered. Our thoughts and prayers go forth to meet him where we trust he abides with Our Lord forever.
The Visitation will be held at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Fort Collins on Friday, March 5th, starting at 6:30 PM. The Rosary will follow starting at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be offered on Saturday, March 6th at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to a charity of your choice.
