William Pimple

William D. Pimple, 77 of Fort Collins, Colorado died March 29, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 3rd at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. William Dean Pimple was born June 24, 1934 in Fleming, Colorado. He grew up in Sterling, and in 1957, began working on the line gang of the Phone Company, or "Ma Bell" as he preferred to call it. On December 7, 1976 Bill and Jennifer Garcia were married in Sterling. A year later, he received a job transfer to Fort Collins. Over the years, Bill worked his way up the ladder and eventually retired as a supervisor in 1990. Bill's faith was first most important to him, with golf (his mistress) in second. He and Jennifer had their marriage blessed on Valentines Day in 1989; an especially meaningful time to them. In addition to golf, Bill also enjoyed woodcarving, watching football and going for walks. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; three sons, Billy (& Chris) Pimple of Riverside, CA, Tom (& Kay) of Murphy, TX and Chris (& Linda) of Loveland, CO; two daughters, Julie Pimple of Lochbuie, CO and Melissa (& Ed) Wright of Loveland; his brother, Bob Pimple of Sterling; a sister, Mildred Tillson of Plymouth, NH; Thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his Daughter, Diana; a son, James; and siblings, Dorothy, Lucille and George.
