William Donald Reavis, 87, passed away Saturday Feb. 18th in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Born in Richmond, Missouri November, 25, 1924 to Frank and Mary Reavis he graduated Richmond High School in 1942 and later from Central Missouri State University with a degree in business. He also attended Wentworth Military Academy and College in Lexington, MO. Don is survived by his four children; Bill, Susan, Paul and Andy and two grandchildren, Aleks and Bailey. Don was proceeded in death by Anna Happy Reavis, also of Richmond MO. They shared 53 years together. Don worked for Swift and Company for more than 30 years, working in the Kansas City and Chicago offices. The family lived in Parkville where they were active in church and scouting activities. Don was a scoutmaster and one of the founding leaders of Troop 370 in Parkville. Don spent more than a decade in scouting activities and received Scouting's coveted Wood Badge award. Moving to Naperville, IL he coached Pop Warner football through the Naperville Park District for 10 years where he was an assistant coach for offense, defense and head coach. Don served his country in WWII and Korea. After retirement, Don and Anna relocated to Columbia, Missouri where they lived for nearly a decade. In Columbia, Don was a member of the Kiwanis Club and volunteered with the Columbia Police Department and the Senior Center. He also enjoyed building furniture for friends and family in his woodshop. He spent the final years enjoying family and grand kids in Fort Collins and enjoying the many craft breweries in the area
