William Paul Repasky

Sep 2, 1962 — Jun 20, 2022

William "Will / Bill / Buppa" Paul Repasky was a beloved and caring husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend. He left this world suddenly on June 20, 2022 at age 59.

Will was born to Anthony and Clara Repasky on September 2, 1962 in Cambridge Springs, PA. As the youngest of six boys, he knew how to negotiate, hold his own, and work hard to get what he wanted beginning with his first job as a paper delivery boy. After graduating as valedictorian from Cambridge Springs High School in 1980, he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Gannon University where he again earned the title of valedictorian. He then pursued his Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University where, alas, he received his first B. He married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Susan, on June 30, 1984 and together they had four children, moved around the country, had numerous adventures, and genuinely had a wonderful time together in all that they did.

Will excelled as an electrical engineer for 38 years with various companies, but the majority of his time was with HP and Intel. He worked on over 10 different CPU's, holds multiple patents, authored a publication, and worked his way up to Principal Engineer at Intel. One of his great delights was teaching and sharing his love of engineering. He helped organize a VLSI class for high schoolers and taught for more than 15 years. He was known for his intelligence, kindness, friendly and open demeanor, and love of mentoring. He was "Bill" in his work circles so Susan always knew which social circle people were in when they mentioned his name!

Throughout the years, Will loved reading, biking, cheering on his Rockies baseball team, traveling, especially to Hawaii, and most of all spending time with his family. He was an ever-present, attentive, and supportive father and grandfather, earning the name Buppa when his little grandkids couldn't say "grandpa". Will loved the Lord with all his heart and made a point to be a full participant in his church family at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton where he was a parishioner for over 35 years. He and Susan sat in the same pew each and every Saturday evening!

Will is survived and dearly missed by his wife Susan, children Andrew (Yael), Alexandria (Jeremy) Black, Maddison, and McKennah, grandchildren Gabriel, Lillian, Felicity, Kathryn, Samantha, and Luciana, brothers Albert, Harold, Kenny, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Clara, mother-in-law Thelma, brothers Robert and Bernie, nephew Thomas Jr., and pets Stephanie, Lisé, and Maggi. Also many fish, he always had a beautiful fish tank.

A Funeral Mass is planned for Wednesday July 6, 2022, at 11 a.m., at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Fort Collins, CO with a vigil gathering the evening before from 6-7 p.m. The Mass will be both live-streamed and recorded (link below).
