Yvonne was born in Denver, CO on 2/9/1961 to Ronald Rickert and Dayleen Townsdin. While attending high school at Thompson Valley High School, she met the love of her life, Hoang Pham, in 1977. They wed February 18, 1978 in Evergreen, CO and resided in Loveland, CO. Yvonne had her only child, Christiana, in 1979 and she graduated in 1980. After graduation she began her 19 year career at Hewlett Packard in the cafeteria in 1981 and finished her career in 2000 as a Cleanroom Test Operator with Agilent. Her marriage came to an end in 2002. Though she never remarried, she spent her last 25 years of life with her significant partner, Bob Sendgraff in Fort Collins, CO.
Over her lifetime, Yvonne enjoyed bowling on Friday night league at Sweetheart Lanes, singing karaoke, playing online video games with her many virtual friends around the world, and taking trips to Blackhawk. She spent many hours making beautiful jewelry and pointillism pictures for friends and family. She was an avid collector of beanie babies, coins and anything Princess Diana. She also loved and adored her little 4 legged companion Daizy Mae until her passing in 2021. Many people who crossed paths with Yvonne describe her as an energetic, loving, caring and a kind woman, which will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by Ronald Rickert and Dayleen Townsdin (parents); and her beloved dog Daizy Mae. She is survived by her Significant Partner, Bob Sendgraff of Ft Collins, CO; sister Addalee Joy Opie of Strawberry, AZ; brother Kenneth Townsdin of Wheatridge, CO; step-sister Valerie Anderson of Des Moines, IA; step-brother John Townsdin of Berryville, AR. She is also survived by her only daughter Chrissy Quintana and husband Thomas Quintana of Johnstown, CO; grandchildren Marcelo Martinez of Loveland, CO; Jade Martinez of Ft. Collins, CO; Kai and Kiana Quintana of Johnstown, CO; and 1 great-granddaughter of Loveland, CO.
Yvonne struggled with many health issues the last 5 years of her life. She spent a great deal of time with her Chrissy and Bob by her side the last 2 ½ weeks. The Lord came for her to take her suffering and pain away and she passed peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of May 22, 2023 at Poudre Canyon Health and Rehabilitation Center.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Yvonne at 10:30am on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Goes Funeral Care, 3665 Canal Drive, Suite E, Fort Collins, CO 80524..Per her request, her cremated remains will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery, next to her grandmother in a private ceremony at a later date.
