Zoe Asher

d. Sep 12, 2020

We celebrate the life of Bobbie Zoe Asher.

From a very early age she was someone who looked to expand her horizons....to find and embrace long and meaningful friendships and to explore and develop artistic experiences. After spending her early years in Chicago, she embarked on a new journey with friends to Los Angeles. Everywhere she went she made friends and developed life-long relationships with the people she met. She later moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico where she created unique jewelry in an artistic community.

While working at the Santa Fe art market. she happened to meet one of her former Chicago companions she had not seen in decades. Though living many miles apart, she finally found the true love of her life and she and John Wetzel were married in 2013. Now, in addition to her great creativity, kindness and gregariousness, she also became a loving wife, step mother and step grandmother.

No one that knew her will ever forget her smile, her laugh, and her love for all those around her.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Wetzel, her sister Sharon Bourne, her father, Lew Asher, as well as all her friends, her step children and step grandchildren. She had a wonderful life, well-lived, and she lives on in all of our hearts.
