Recognizing National Hospice Month

November is National Hospice Month, and we want to take a moment to thank the dedicated hospice professionals in our community who provide end-of-life care. Hospice and in-home hospice services provide pain management, symptom control and other support to patients and their families when a cure is not possible.

It truly takes a special individual to provide this kind of care when individuals and families need it the most, and we salute them for their good work.

Many of us may be faced with the eventual need of hospice services for a loved one or ourselves. We’d like to share a helpful website that can help get the conversation started, and take some of the uncertainty out of the process.

CaringInfo is a program of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, and shares information about planning for care, finding providers and support resources. We hope you find it helpful.

Planning ahead of time for funeral or cremation needs can also ease the burden of decision-making on your family when the time comes. Simply give us a call to get started.
